Music tours are coming back. Here's everything you need to know about your favorite upcoming artists and their arrivals in Los Angeles.

So throughout this whole mess of a pandemic, a lot of people have turned to new music and artists to cope with loneliness and a lack of motivation. Which is great! But now that things are getting better and mandates are getting looser, we can start to enjoy some music-related activities that we missed out on. Hopefully, we won’t be interrupted *death glares at Delta variant*.

Now, everyone’s excited for tours, right? *chorus of cheers* Yeah, I thought so. And everyone wants to go to at least one, right? *agreement noises* Me too! Wow, we have so much in common! Well, before we do any of that, we need to cross a few things off the good ol’ checklist.

First off, do you have a COVID-19 vaccine? No? Ok, do you have a negative COVID-19 test result from at least 72 hours before the concert you want to see? No? Well, I got some bad news for you, bud. As of August 8, 2021, California requires at least one of the two previously mentioned requirements to permit your entrance to a “mega event”, which is an event with over 1000 people. But no need to worry! Free to low-cost COVID tests and vaccines are available in a lot of pharmacies.

Ok, now that you have your vaccine or negative test, you’re ready to go to a concert of your choice. You have a lot to choose from! If you’re into older rock, System of A Down is in Los Angeles on October 22. A newer alternative rock band called Palaye Royale just had a gig on the first, but more tour dates are being released soon. The Weeknd is at the Staples Center on March 7th, Andy Grammer on March 3rd at the House of Blues, and Melanie Martinez performing this Halloween at the same venue!

Want more concerts? No problem! TAME IMPALA returns to the Hollywood Bowl on November 2. The smooth, silky-sounding Summer Salt performs at Regent Theater in L.A. on November 3! For my BTS fans out there, the beautiful boy band bumps their way onto the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on December 1. That same night, Baby Keem performs at the Fonda Theater (hopefully Kendrick shows up)! Beach Bunny will be having everyone crying and nodding their heads up and down at The Observatory on December 8, while Joji will definitely have us in our feels the next day at the Novo in L.A.!

There’s tons of artists performing soon and tons more to come. Just be sure to get COVID-safe first!
